ASSIX Complete Ripley Locker Building

 

ASSIX are delighted to have successfully completed our first project with Derbyshire Police with the handover of their new locker building at Ripley Station.

Works commenced in Feb 2021 and while working with the project team Assix managed to overcome the challenges of continuing progress through the global pandemic and tackling supply chain issues experienced throughout the industry. The building provides much improved changing facilities at the station while in keeping with the existing buildings.

The key work items were:

  • Decommissioning existing temporary locker facilities.

  • Groundworks and new foundations.

  • Hybrid Steel and Masonry superstructure.

  • Cladding, Roofing and aluminium windows & doors.

  • Full internal fit-out including M&E services, BMS and Access Control.

  • Forming new access into the existing building and providing external walkway canopy.
